Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro Iii Review Review

  • Some fraudsters have compromised TGP accounts have in the past few days. They have scammed members in the Emporiums by creating ads with stolen photos and requesting Paypal F&F or Venmo exclusively for payment.

We take these issues seriously. Nosotros've made security changes that I don't want to detail hither to cease them. Yet, the best way to prevent this is for members to exercise proper password hygiene (which I'll detail below), turn on 2-factor authentication, and -- I implore every unmarried person here -- just use payment methods that accept buyer protection. Unfortunately, we cannot control how members do deals. It is heartbreaking to run across that the lure of saving some money will nonetheless fool people into using those methods to save a few dollars. In today's world, that is false confidence you can no longer afford.

Every account that I've restored and so far to the original owner was using compromised passwords. Talking to one member as I am working through getting his account back in order, he informed me that his Apple password manager had been compromised and fabricated available on the dark web.

None of the accounts compromised were using 2-factor authentication.

We take forced email revalidation for all members that have non signed on for a while. We highly recommend every member reading this change their passwords as a precaution. We want to highly recommend that members turn on and use TGP'south two-cistron hallmark pick.

We have opened a discussion thread in the Pub section discussing this.We will include a very detailed password checklist.

I had a pro plus summit some years back. Solid guitar for the price. It stayed in tune so I changed out the electronics and it was a pure histrion. I somewhen sold it to fund other things but it was a great guitar for the toll.

I've not run across very many Epiphone models that weren't a actually practiced value.

I've had a Wildkat, Dot, and Elitist Byrdland. All very good for the $.

Go for it.

My buddy has one... dainty axe.

I liked the matte terminate on the cervix. It's a steal for $300.

I accept a Trad pro III goldtop. Electronics are ok it came with alnico 2s , matte terminate on the neck is fine, I bought knowing I might be swapping for hotter pickups, kept the pots. I really went to GC and ran the racks to find the closest neck to my strat, I noticed they vary quite a bit.

A setup and summit wrap I'k happy with the purchase, all tolled I accept most $400 into it.

These LP'south have Pau Ferro fretboards, and they vary somewhat in how light or dark they are...they feel and sound great though. I was happy with the stock pickups, I'm more of a slightly hot PAF guy though.

Oh, yes—if y'all listen to Mark Agnesi'southward interview on Anderton'south (from last calendar week?), most the end he pretty much gets empty-headed about some upcoming Epiphone news. He sorta hints that a brand and/or product line update is imminent. Spotter for yourself and come with your ain inferences and implications, merely for me, i'd kinda have to await on ownership an Epiphone for a few months. Non sure if more volition exist known before NAMM, though, so maybe that affects your timeline.

Yeah, I looked at SG-400s earlier this year and I but tin't exercise those pau ferro fretboards. I wouldn't even mind if they stained them darker, it only doesn't await right. They expect dry out and mis-matched.

I would besides highly recommend Manlius A3 LT 59 - merely a tad over his A4 Fat Diane's. Bank check out Roknfnroll demos on YouTube. Behemothic player with proficient bear on & phrasing

I looked at the GC motion-picture show of the goldtop and noticed the sloppy masking job and goobered paint along the fingerboard extension on the cutaway side. Pretty bad with a pool of paint pooled along the binding. The masking task looks all wiggly like no care was taken and would authorize the guitar as a blem/2nd by anyone's standards. Yikes! I guess that's to be expected at $299, but the Epiphones. I've owned in the past were all near-flawless.

I bought two of them, yous can see the pics before in the thread, and there are no paint puddles or poor bounden masking...the QC on mine are quite skillful. Much better than some of the Epiphone's I've endemic in by years. The satin finish on the back, sides and neck does show the grain and texture of the wood, but looks fine to me and feels great with no stickiness.

IMO the Pro 3 might be the best Epi ever made. Really like them.

I'll second the 60'southward tribute plus. My start 'real' guitar. Easy to play, stays in tune well, Grover locking tuners, Gibson pickups, hard instance, etc. Tough to crush.
